Project challenges
The project included an existing development with a basement. Water had started seeping into the basement and the site owner suspected it was from a cracked sewer or a leaking pool in the neighbouring property.
Our solutions
We designed a sampling and analysis program to establish the water source. Samples were collected from the seepage and analysed for a range of potential contaminants and parameters. The analysis indicated that the leak was from the adjoining pool and the information was used by the client to take appropriate steps to have the issue rectified.
